As a watercolorist, I experiment with different techniques to paint images that surround me daily.  Natural scenes, such as landscapes, animals or floral images are where I focus my attention.  Hyper Realism is how I'd classify my style of painting, enhancing abstract shapes with exaggerated color which fit together in a myriad of ways to make a finished image.

Art 2 Art is an instructional watercolor show hosted by Guy Magallanes & Joyce Faulknor; each have their own proven approaches and techniques for this challenging medium. Guy usually paints light to dark one color at a time & Joyce paints dark to light and mixes up a mess of colors in her palette and right on the paper! Their approaches and techniques may be polar opposites just like yellow and purple but they play well together. The tag line for their show is Look, Laugh & Learn.
